REACH Policy
REACH (“Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 December 2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH)”) is a European Union (EU) chemicals regulation that entered into force on 1 June 2007, with phased deadlines to 2018. Approximately every 6 months, the European Chemicals Agency ECHA publishes a chemical candidate list of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC). The latest candidate list of SVHC chemicals can be accessed here.
As a global assembler of cables, wire harnesses and electromechanical assemblies, Tornik LLC and Affiliates (“Tornik”) promotes the overall REACH of improving the protection of human health and the environment.
